The Cooper Center for Environmental Learning, otherwise known in Tucson as Camp Cooper, hosted an outdoor exhibit for Earth Day this past Saturday. The exhibit was dedicated to the Earth Day ideals of environmental education, sustainability and nature conservancy. Exhibitors provided fun, interactive table activities that highlighted the organizations' missions or demonstrated concepts related to their causes. The Cooper Center is a "living classroom" in a pristine desert setting in the Tucson Mountains, a unique partnership between the University of Arizona (UA) College of Education and the Tucson Unified School District.

ALRS student, Ivan Gaxiola Camacho, held an activity table for the ALRS program. Ida Sami, Summer 2022 ALRS graduate, was also present, hosting a table for the Moms Clean Air Force, an organization that fights air pollution and climate change, with the help of current ALRS student, Karina Martinez.
