ALRS PhD Alum Publishes Research on Groundwater Vulnerability in Water

We are proud to share that Dr. Simone A. Williams, a recent graduate of the Arid Lands Resource Sciences (ALRS) PhD program, has published her research in the peer-reviewed journal Water.
The article, titled "Equity Assessment of Groundwater Vulnerability and Risk in Drinking Water Supplies in Arid Regions," explores critical issues related to groundwater contamination and equitable water management in Arizona and other arid environments. This study provides valuable insights for policymakers and researchers aiming to address water quality challenges in vulnerable communities.
This publication is part of Dr. Williams' dissertation research and was developed in collaboration with esteemed members of her dissertation committee, who also served as coauthors. This work represents a meaningful contribution to water resource research and demonstrates the impactful scholarship produced within the ALRS program.
