Stephen Bieda III Won USAF 1st Weather Groups' 2011 Weather Civilian of the Year Award

Stephen Bieda III won the USAF 1st Weather Group's 2011 Weather Civilian of the Year award, which encompassed the 15th Operational Weather Squadron, the 25th Operational Weather Squadron and the 26th Operational Weather Squadron.  The announcement came on January 26, 2012 from Colonel Kay A. Smith, the Commander of the 1st Weather Group.

This is the 2nd year in a row where Stephen was recognized for his hard work and dedication as an annual award winner from the 25th Operational Weather Squadron.  Stephen was selected as the Civilian of the Year amongst all civilian employees at 1st Weather Group, which employs nearly 50 civilians.  Stephen will now compete as Civilian of the Year for the entire Air Force Weather Agency, which is the field operating agency of the Headquarters U.S. Air Force Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Air and Space Operations, Weather Directorate.
