ALRS in the News!

The Arizona Daily Wildcat is the award-winning, student-managed and -produced newspaper serving the University of Arizona and greater Tucson communities. On February 18, 2019 it published a story on the Arid Lands Resource Sciences (ALRS) PhD program.  Chuck Hutchinson, Faculty Emeritus and former Chair of ALRS was interviewed by Marquies White why this PhD program is useful for learning more about the environment and sustainability.  Graduate students: Drew Eppehimer and Ladd Keith were also interviewed and both stressed that the interdisciplnary nature of ALRS is what drew them into the program.  Read more at: http://www.wildcat.arizona.edu/article/2019/02/n-arid-land-resources
