Abd Salam El Vilaly(link sends e-mail) (ALRS Summer 2013 graduate) and Audra El Vilaly (Geography PhD student) became proud parents of Emil Mohamdy Vilaly who was born on January 31, 2013 Tucson, AZ.

Wiebke Foerch (link sends e-mail)(ALRS Fall 2012 Graduate)  and her husband,  Stefano, are also  parents to Nicola, their son who was born on June 23, 2013 in Nairobi.
