ALRS Student's Research Highlighted in the Arizona Republic & AZCentral

ALRS student, Simone Williams, had her research featured in the Arizona Republic and azcentral.com. Her research is on modeling the impact of agricultural land management on groundwater in the Pinal AMA, which she presented at the GIDP Research Symposium back in December 2022. This work is being done through the Water Resources Research Center as part of a multi-state project that is examining the sustainability of irrigated agriculture in California, Arizona, and New Mexico. It forms one component of her dissertation research.
